I love finding type and letterforms in strange places. I have loads of random type-spotting pictures of construction signs, graffiti, plaques, blades of grass, old signs, packaging and more. It’s definitely a passionate hobby of mine. For those like me who enjoy finding type out in the word then I suggest the work of Lisa Rienermann. Type the Sky is a photographic project that uses buildings and sky to create letters. It’s exciting to think that there is type all around us, you just have to know where/how to look.
